Food Forest Consultancy and Design

Excited about planting

a food forest but unsure

where to start?

We'd love to help!

We are available for food forest design, installation and ongoing maintenance, and we can

provide the plants too.

We specialise in food forest design and can help with small urban backyards, homestead food forests to feed a family or community, and larger agroforestry systems for commercial production.

As well as developing a design that fits your personal context and needs, we can also supply the plants and help with the installation. We also provide ongoing advice and support, and can assist with maintenance, harvesting, pruning and new plantings.

We are available for in-person consultations for the Whangārei and Northland area, and for online advice nationwide.

Get in touch for a no obligation discussion about your situation and what we can offer you.

About Arthur:

Born and raised in Ngunguru, Arthur's childhood was spent exploring the forests, beaches and rivers around this beautiful part of the country, giving him a love of wild places. Always an avid gardener, he discovered permaculture as a teenager and it became a lifelong passion.

After some years of travel around New Zealand and Australia, visiting and being involved in community gardens, intentional communities and urban permaculture projects, Arthur and his partner Lia settled back down in Northland to begin work on their own property here. The last 10 years on the land have been a journey of learning and integration with place, connecting with other growers and sharing knowledge and plants.

For the last three years Arthur has also been managing Twin Falls Nursery, including running social media pages which provide free education to enthusiasts nationwide. Arthur is excited to start the next chapter in his journey in consulting, continuing to help people all around the country experience the joy of food forests.
